Life at milk + honey, as always, has been full of fun changes and activities — we’re expanding our downtown location, finalizing plans for a new location, and getting revved up for busy fall. As the season start to change and we move into cooler weather, we often forget about wearing sunscreen. To help maintain healthy, young-looking skin, it is imperative that you apply a moisturizing sunscreen everyday. But you already know this, right? Those nasty UV rays are waiting for you, even when it’s not bright and sunny outside. Using a gentle cleanser and good moisturizer, and sunscreen as well as drinking lots of water can help you stay hydrated as we move towards winter. As always, Austin City Limits Music Festival was fantastic. It was hot, humid, crowded, and we loved it! As an Austin original spa, milk + honey was at the festival again this year, offering refreshing and relaxing mini treats at the VIP Grove. We offered cold, wet, peppermint-infused bandanas, make-up application (Thanks, Rae Cosmetics!), and chair massage. We also raffled off an aromatherapy massage.
